A short yet inspiring daygame story

The ‘on’ girl, but not an ‘on’, by anonymous expert daygamer

I met a girl who seemed ‘on’ in the park 2 weeks ago. She softly took the lead in the interaction. At the time I stopped her, she was at an intersection walking back to work. And opening, I suggested walking with her in the direction she was going but she instead suggested the park behind us. As we walked in the park I would try to stop for a second, to test her compliance but she’d not stop so I’d have to just continue walking.

Eventually, we walk out of the park and back towards her workplace. When we got outside to get work building, we stopped and started winding down the conversation. However, she’s the one who says, “So are you going to take my number”. I looked at her, smiled, and said, “No, you’re boring!” Walked two steps and turned back and said, “Okay, but only if you drink Vodka or Gin”. She responded, “I drink both”. I said, “Good. I’ll take your number then”

I texted, she responded, date, lay.

The takeaway is that: She seemed keen but I still teased her about not wanting the number and then qualified right before taking it.
